Boletín estadístico del Instituto Nacional de Vivienda y Urbanismo (INVU) en el que se responde a consultas sobre la labor realizada por el INVU, información sobre la población y vivienda costarricenses y otros temas de importancia. Su objetivo principal es proporcionar datos relevantes para el análisis institucional y la formulación de políticas públicas en materia habitacional. El boletín incluye estadísticas detalladas sobre la construcción y financiamiento de viviendas, programas de ahorro y crédito, inversión pública y privada en el sector, así como la evolución histórica de las soluciones habitacionales entre 1955 y 1978. También incorpora indicadores demográficos, laborales y económicos, como población, empleo, ingresos, comercio exterior y precios. Asimismo, presenta información sobre el déficit habitacional y la distribución territorial de la infraestructura y servicios. En conjunto, el documento ofrece una visión integral del desarrollo urbano y social del país, destacando el papel del INVU en la planificación y solución del problema de vivienda en Costa Rica.
Statistical bulletin of the National Institute of Housing and Urbanism (INVU) in which questions are answered about the work carried out by INVU, information about the Costa Rican population and housing and other important topics. Its main objective is to provide relevant data for institutional analysis and the formulation of public policies in the housing sector. The bulletin includes detailed statistics on housing construction and financing, savings and loan programs, public and private investment in the sector, as well as the historical evolution of housing solutions between 1955 and 1978. It also incorporates demographic, labor, and economic indicators, such as population, employment, income, foreign trade, and prices. Additionally, it presents information on the housing deficit and the territorial distribution of infrastructure and services. Overall, the document provides a comprehensive view of the country’s urban and social development, highlighting the role of INVU in planning and addressing the housing problem in Costa Rica.
